Hi there!
My name is Taylor Williams, and I'd love to share a little about myself with you. In January of 2021, I created a Facebook Group called "Positive Safe Place." Here's the first post I ever made to my group, back when it had 0 followers:
"My name is Taylor and I have a lot of positivity I want to share with the world. I decided to start a group that is filled with nothing but things to make you smile, laugh and be happy. This will be quotes, stories, photos.... anything really.
This is a safe place for everyone. Please message me anytime you need someone to talk to or someone to just listen.
I hope to make you smile as often as possible!"
Since then, my group has grown to include 757 beautiful souls whom I have the privilege of sharing positive thoughts with every day. This experience has touched my soul in a way that nothing else ever has. The irony lies in the fact that I created the "Positive Safe Place" Group while my own mind was far from feeling safe. At that point in my life, I was battling mental illness to the extent of having suicidal thoughts. I knew I had to take action; I knew I had to make a change. So, I created this group to share the words of encouragement and love that I myself needed to hear the most. Eventually, this led me to establish my "Cool To Be Kind Tay" brand on social media. Every word and thought I share with you all comes straight from the depths of my heart and soul, as a Trusted Thought Leader.
My passion has driven me to pursue a career as a Motivational Speaker, allowing me to continue spreading positivity. My mission is to ensure that every audience I speak to leaves with their minds and hearts in a Positive Safe Place.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me better. I am thrilled to have this opportunity to make a difference and bring a little more light into the world. Let's create an impact together!

A five-year journey of resilience: Community looks back on Hurricane Michael
By David Adlerstein October 11, 2023
In the beauty of a room adorned with art, adjacent to a table laden with appetizers, members of the Gulf County community reflected on the five-year journey from Hurricane Michael’s devastation.
In a program Friday night at The Joe Center for the Arts, a handful of speakers spoke about both their experiences of those terrifying days back the second week of October 2018, as well as how far the community has come since.
“Today we’re not here to dwell on the past nor are we here to mourn our losses,” said event organizer Taylor Williams, regional vice president for Setco Services who oversees the company’s work in Gulf County.
